2000 firebird flashing instrument panel

instrument panel , fuel and temp gauge fluctuate at times

the gauges flicker off and on the same time the tach , and speedometer and rest of the lights on the cluster panel. Some times it will work then all goes off. Temp gauge and alt gauge work fine all the time.
