Is the oil pump for a 2000 firebird v6 and v8 the same? I can't seem to find one.

I have a 2000 firebird and I'm replacing the motor so I want to go ahead and replace the
oil pump.  I have searched online and can't find an answer.

I would call up the Chevy dealership and they can help you with that or shop online and see if you can compare the V8 one with the V6 one with a part search online to confirm.
