My 02 exploror is slipping real bad in 1st gear and reverse but it does go into gear. When it finally shifts into 2nd it takes off but the od light starts flashing...what do need to do to fix this

Put it in reverse and it reverses. Put it in drive and it goes in drive and thats it/ It won't shift gears.
