Anyone know how to get the transmission fluid out of a 2014 explorer? I pulled the drain plug but you only get about 4 quarts. Book says capacity is 11 qts.

Most of the fluid is inside the transmission along with cooling lines and inside the radiator. My 2010 F 150 actually has a thermostat inside the tranny which does not allow fluid flow until the temp of the tranny fluid is up to the 180 degree range, then it cycles through the transmission and cooler. LX30215 suggestion would seem to work as long as you drive long enough to cycle the fluid through the tranny, if so equipped.
