Brake and battery warning light on

Asked by Neenky74 Jun 19, 2018 at 04:10 PM about the 2001 Mercury Villager 4 Dr Sport Passenger Van

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Both lights came on prior to needing a jump.  After
getting the jump,  both lights still on... Help.  I was
told alternator but I believe differently...

sounds like a charging system issue,also if battery is 4 years old or older it's time for a replacement.
