troubleshooting electrical

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 77 firebird pontiac.  I heard a pop while I
was driving and now none of my electrical works. I
replaced the battery and checked the fuses and
nothing seems to wrong. I checked the starter and
replaced the cylinoid but it still doesn't work.
Anything else I can trouble shoot?

There should be a inline fuse link on the positive wire going to alternator or starter.

Yeah using an ohm meter and try to check all your relays too and there's a fusible link that could be between the starter and alternator which I'm pretty sure there is usually coming off the starter going towards the alternator and that could have popped checking relays check that link and just be alert to look around for other wiring issues.
