Question type: Maintenance & Repair

All I did was remove the right front directional signal socket, old one
corroded. It had gotten wet, I cleaned it awhile back it worked, but then
stopped again.

I ordered a new socket, he new one had 3 wires, black brown and white , old
one had black brown and blue. The blinker/directional signal now works but
the car won't start. It was running fine with no problems before this. I
disconnected the battery to reboot the system that didn't work, Checked
fuses for ignition they were fine.

All electrical systems come on when I turn the key, radio, head lights interior
lights, partial dash lights, "Security" comes on!

I will respectfully disagree, the headlights and all electronics work. (Radio interior lights etc) Battery is less than 6 months old, a five year life battery. I had Check System light come on because of a fuel module issue. But now just the 'security' light comes on so I figure it is because I cut the wires to the directional signal and now have to reset the system. I disconnected the positive terminal on the battery for a few seconds, and re attached, the Stereo system did not rebut, all of my stations stayed.

I figured it out! The problem was a fuse, when I cut the wires to the directional signal socket, it must have blown the fuse, even though the car was not on. I watched a lot of videos on how to bypass the Theft device, but I felt the need to check the manual again, there is a large fuse under the hood that is for the Ignition, labeled 'Ing'. It cost 14 plus change. When I removed it and inserted the new one, it started right up. ' Check the fuses first before bypassing the Anti Theft System.
