What type of coolant should i put in my 98 sonoma

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I accidentally put green antifreeze in my radiator
After i changed my t-stat. And i need to know if
that can mess my engine up and what kind of
coolant i should use from now on?

it's ethylene glycol can be green or red or clear...but 50/50 mix with water is the designed formulae~ DO NOT use plain water...this is a recipe for disaster....drain intermediately and fill with the correct 50/50 mix.. okay...thanks for asking~

Yes i know not to put just water but i was looking to find out if mixing dex cool and the green stuff is alright?

Ethylene Glycol could never mix with Ethylene Glycol...they are the same~ water and you'll have Flint, Michigan all over again~

why not? they are the same material? the properties are identical~
