1999-2000 ford crown Victoria

Okay my Crownvic starts but when I put it in
drive  the car shuts down completely

Common on this make/model is a vacuum leak that will cause such problem. Check the vacuum tubs connected to the upper manifold, closer to the firewall. it should be one of the bigger tubes or the connector from the tube to the manifold ( 90 degree angle). Good luck :-)
