My Chrysler Sebring overheats and blows only cold air

Hi. My V6 2000 Chrysler Sebring Convertible heats up to maximum temperature. Only at high level temperature the air blower is blowing out hot air. All other time it blows cold air. I think it is the Thermostate that is not working properly. Would you recommend changing it or only drain the radiator system? What shall I do? Thanks for your help!

Thermostat is a relatively quick and easy replacement, do an internet search and you can likely find a video or at least instructions.

Try thermostat first, it's the cheapest fix. If radiator, hoses, fan normal, coolant full, water pump may be failing. Replace timing chain at same time while open, this should be done at 90K anyway. Good luck.

flush ut dan change the t stat wich is tricky to get to its stuck open most likely
