Why would my Sebring heater blow cold air

Asked by TDG Jan 08, 2016 at 12:34 PM about the 2000 Chrysler Sebring JXi Convertible FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2000 Chrysler Sebring heater blows warm air (never hot) for about 10 seconds then it turns cold. I had the water pump and timing belt replaced six months ago. the temp gauge never gets above the midpoint mark, it typically is at the quarter mark. Any suggestions why the heater blows cold
