2000 300M. Shut car off to run inside 3 mins came out & won't start or crank. Everything power works fine but hit the key & don't make a sound. Please help I'm DIY & this car is all me& girls have

I shut the car off to run inside for maybe 3 mins came out and everything
electric/power works except when I turn the key it don't make a sound.  138K
miles & its a 2000 300M.  Couple wks before it quit i noticed a couple times
while driving my guages would jump all over the place & it would say 'NO BUS'

I already checked fuses under hood and dash, I had battery on charger all night and it's 12.67. it started back up 2 days later after it did that & now hasn't started since.

The NO BUS message means there is something wrong with electrical communication system in the car. There could be something that is faulty or shorted
