why does my remote have a mind of its own

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My key less remote will do every it is suppose to do,except it will not unlock my
doors i can even start my car with it .I can lock them, why won't it unlock my
doors ?????

Cecil, my advice is take it to the dealer and see if they can help get it reprogrammed. Or, call a locksmith, they know how to make duplicate smart keys, so, I think they may also have a clue. Good luck.

OR go to WIKI and ask how to reprogram your remote ... most cars are so easy that you may volunteer to do your friends
