My truck will start at first then will and will not idle

I  bought a 98 f150 4x4 lariat when trying to start it
I like not getting file keep playing with it it will start
up but will not idle what can it be it sit over a year
with trasmission problem.  Not having start up

Posible it is the iac motor (idle air control) if you take of and spray cleaner to get rid of carbon deposits then reinstall.

the gas in the tank is garbage if it sat for a year , mice can chew on wiring , O-rings and gaskets corrode
