Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck would not start,so I took the battery  to Walmart ,I was told it was bad, so I bought a new one and my truck will not start.

Will not start or not turn over. If it doesn't turn over, check battery cables for corrosion and bad or loose connection specially at the starter end

It could be the starter switch inside the stearing column. Not the ignition switch! I've replaced that switch twice within my 27500 miles.
