Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i just changed oil in my 00' silverado and the check engine oil level light wont go off I put 5-20 instead of 10-30 will this make the light stay?

1 Answer

I doubt this would change anything unless your engine had marginal oil pressure to begin with. I would drain it and use a heavier oil.
