Alternator was changed and battery too. Tester
shows everything functioning but battery light
comes on when you start driving. It's not on at
initial start

Are all your contacts and grounds clean and corrosion free? Next would be to check resistance of all your wires. I would also retest these new parts to make sure you got good parts.
