Anytime the battery is disconnected the security system is activated by default, just run the disarm procedure in the owners manual and it should shut down the horn and allow to start the car.

Not working for me. The horn goes off and the trunk opens. Car won't start

Bummer that usually means the the programming has been corrupted and the dealer will have to reflash it go get systems to come back. something you can try: disconnect one battery cable, turn on the headlight switch, wait at least a minute or longer, turn off the headlight switch, reconnect the cable, then run the shut down procedure, have found a few if it doesn't work with the drivers door then try the passenger door. Worth a try otherwise it's off to the dealer.

Took to dealer will let you know what happens.

Wrong battery for car. Hot and ground switched up.

How did that happen? Was it put in by a place like autozone?
