How to correct vaccum lines that have been mixed up?

I have a 1967 Ford Thunderbird that I purchased about 10 years ago.  It has 37,700 original miles on it.  When I purchased it the mechanic disconnected some of the vacuum lines to put more vacuum to the brakes.  I am have difficulty finding someone who understands the system to help me sort it out so things like the air vents open and close, door locks work etc.

Sounds like you have a nice car there. I would invest in a service manual and refer to the vacuum hose routing diagram and go through the whole thing. Also with hoses that are that old I would use all new hosing. You don't want to get all done to later have one fail.

In addition to the above, like original spark plug wires (cut to the proper length so they only reach to the appropriate plug), maybe you can see if some will only reach to certain vacuum devices, that they were intended to go on. John P. Bozony

vintageautoliterature , they can be found on ebay and buy yourself a vacuum pamphlet . It covers all 3 TBird yrs 67/68/69
