what is causing the coolant temp in my Chrysler 300 to rise while driving

Don't let it get hot or you will have bigger problems, this could be a bad thermostat. First check to see if the coolant is low. Do not check anything when it is hot, just for your safety.

I have a 2014 chrysler 300 lam setting running temp up to 240 but the fan on but it never get to the hot
