Do Not Let your tank get below half (ok quarter if your tight ); running on empty is not good for your car.

If the light comes on you have already went to far. I do not advise to run your fuel tank down below a quarter of a tank left. In tank fuel pumps are cooled by the gas in the tank. So when you run it low there is a chance of running out of gas. When you run it out of gas you might be having to install a new fuel pump due to it over heating with no gas in the tank to keep it cool. Also any trash or condensation in the tank gets picked up when fuel is low. So now we are possibly replacing the fuel pump, fuel filter and all the fuel injectors. Large price tag of repairs all because we did not feel like pumping a little gas in the tank. IMO anyways.

okay - make that 5 signs because Lmao and lmao are the same.....Who invented all this stuff I wonder?;[.......and I thought carbs to injectors and then it was analog TV to digital were unnecessary ...I don't have a cellular telephone (plain don't see their use).....might use some of these symbols but might go back to just words,..... and maybe not too old; but, just stuck in my ways......I never had an Email address until I signed up to car sites. I wanted some info on my tranny and my guy knew nothing . I knew what I needed but NOBODY (my guy and a handful of others in town) knew what a vacuum modulator was -(... never mind after market vs original design) I finally down-loaded an ATSG shop manual and under-lined the section on vac modulator and taught my guy what to do......past my bedtime,good-night.

I said "No,I'm reading and talking about cars." She said that she could E mail me now. She sent me one and I sent her a post card to reply. ...... now that was a real Lmao!

You know what’s really fucking annoying? Is when people wanna preach instead of answering the fucking question. Some people are looking for the answer because they don’t know if they’ll be stranded or not and don’t have time to read all of your bullshit “answers” putting someone down for wanting to know an answer to a simple question. Fucking small people needing to feel big. Wanting to feel important. Just answer the fucking question and if you don’t know DONT SAY ANYTHING. Fuck.

I hate when people respond to questions without answering them. “Don’t run your car with the gas that low” is not an answer to this question. “Approximately 30 miles” is.
