I'm not sure if your son would be interested in getting what I have in my 3 vehicles. Please don't take this the wrong way, but I have the hum× in my vehicles. They are quite amazing and very helpful. The hum let's you know what's wrong with your vehicle. It gives you the code an explains what the code means. With the hum× like I have in my car, I have WiFi. Go to www.hum.com. The sight will explain everything about the hum+ and the hum×. No I don't work for Verizon. I got one so that I can find out if something is wrong with my car, plus the fact I have the codes on my app so a mechanic doesn't try to tell me there's something wrong with my car that's not. I hope this helps you.
