When I put the car in drive it doesn't move but the
RPM goes high but the car doesn't have good tires
either what do you suggestm

or torque converter to tranny pump shaft, crummy engineering left this as a weak link. Unfortunately to fix it you have to pull tranny, you're looking at around 1400-1500 for repairs. PS if tires were spinning you would know it. You're stuck in a hard place - take it to a shop for a transmission diagnosis is going to cost you, plus it has to be towed, another fee. Then the repair bill is going to be high, way more than the car is worth. Then to get it back from the shop you either let them fix it and pay that high repair bill, or tow it back again and let it sit in your drive, until you get sick of looking at it and call yet another two truck to come and get it. Scrap values are super low right now too. My suggestion is: find a friend who is mechanically inclined, have him/her check tranny fluid level (make sure engine is running), if you can't get car running, list it on craigslist as a mechanic's special or for parts. If you get more than scrap value for it you're coming out ahead.

Yep like Ken said its not worth fix unless your have a good friend that can do the repairs....
