Dam good question, I wish I knew because I want to do the same thing but I live in California so I gotta make sure the emissions are correct so if you did do that are the emissions correct to do that in California or would you have to modify the engine I have a 2002 Pontiac Firebird so I'm adding a question to this too lol

The fwd engine fits just fine, u just need to swap all front accessories oil filter adaptor, and upper and lower intake ..basically tear the new block down to just block and heads then do the same to old block and swap the rwd stuff back on the fwd block and install
