If you are sure your battery is being drained, start there to diagnose. Using a meter in line with the battery's positive side it should show a positive current draw. Start pulling fuses until the meter shows zero and you have found the circuit that is the problem. Then keep going on the items on that circuit until the problem is located.

just bought 99 firebird v6 it starts fine then once it warms up and i shut it off it will not start till it cools down 3 Answers

windows not work or raidio, starts fine when cold, when it is warmed up it turns over then act like battery is dead. it will jump start after 5 min. or so.

Have a 1999 Firebird that is running hot. I just changed out the Radiator and Thermostat and refilled with dex cool restarted the car and ran at idle for 10-15 minutes when fans kicked on the gauge began to rise and eventually to the red line .
