97 bird transmission

Asked by Wendy Jan 20, 2018 at 08:41 AM about the 1997 Ford Thunderbird LX RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 97 thunderbird that when you first crank it up you
have to manually shift it from 1st then to drive; as long as
you don’t cut it off it shifts perfect after that. It’s only after
you cut it off then crank it back up. Can someone help
me?
