2000 NISSAN ALTIMA LOOSES POWER TO STARTER SOLENOID AFTER RUNNING FOR 15 MINUTES

Which wire? There should be power to the big terminal all the time. It would be the small wire for when you turn the key to start. I could see not getting power threw that wire to energize the starter solenoid.

BUT I HAVE POWER FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH WHEN KEY IS IN THE CRANK POSITION.AFTER CAR SITS FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES IT STARTS UP

We are talking about the engine not turning over after it had run for 15 min. right? Not about the engine not having a starting problem? We are talking about power to the starter correct?
