Asked by Guru9YL76D Feb 02, 2021 at 01:39 PM about the 2003 Nissan Altima 2.5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While driving car at 60mph on the highway it lost all
power and died. All the lights and radio came back
on but starter won’t engage to start car. Checked
all fuses and they are good. I’m at a loss as to what
happened.

Check your alternator buddy. I had the exact problem driving at night on fwy. I got lucky and turned the headlights off. I have a manual speed so I was able to jump it while driving. Try taking off the negative terminal from your battery next time u start the car. And if it dies in less than a minute. Its ur alternator
