Where and how do I run a light hook up to my 5.0

Sounds like you want to install a plug on the back of your car so you can hook up trailer lights when towing. You are going to have to know the wire color code on your vehicle for brake, turn, and the hazard flasher to wire it correctly. Also check the electrical draw for the lights on the trailer. The fuse rating (amperage) for the tail lights in your vehicle could be small. If the tail lights on the vehicle, plus the trailer exceed the rating of the fuse you can blow it.
