Rearview mirror compass on 2018 Highlander XLE not visible...Reason?

Question type: General

The manual says to hold the mirror button down 3 seconds for the compass to appear.  No compass visible.  Ideas?

Take a ride back to the dealer, car must have factory warranty!

I don't believe that the compass in the mirror is available on the XLE Highlander. There is a compass on the mid display as well as the navigation screen

My compass, on the dashboard is fixed inasmuch the N is fixed and the direction pointer we are headed changes. Is there anyway that the direction the car is headed “points straight up” and the points of the compass rotates so that the direction arrow is fixed and the points of the compass rotate? Phil in MSP
