2018 Toyota Highlander correct tire pressure?

Question type: General

Door says tire pressure should be 36.
Michelin tires on vehicle say max pressure 51.
What pressure should I fill my tires to?

Me myself I would go about middle and if it drives funny add more or take out some til your comfortable

The maximum pressure is the max pressure it is safe to put in the tires. All you need is the factory recommended pressure.

I wasnt saying drive it for a month o was saying commen sense put the air in and drive it down the road a bit then come back and do that til it's ok with the way it drives that's all I got 3 uncle's that are mechanics and that's what they told me to do

Don't listen to JonBoy. You don't base pressure on how a car drives. Proper pressure us inside the driver door. 36 in this case. Amount listed on tire is the max, not the proper amount, which varies by car.
