2018 Mustang Ecoboost Automatic Braking

Asked by GuruVP8VJ Sep 06, 2018 at 07:35 PM about the 2018 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just purchased a new 2018 Ecoboost Mustang
Automatic. I noticed whenever I brake and come to a
complete stop decreasing to under 10 mph, the car
slightly lunges forward and the RPM gauge goes up
slightly. Is this normal for my type of vehicle? Thank you.

It's probably just downshifting normally. The car slows down, the engine speeds up, just a lower gear. That's all.
