Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is it worth to but a 2015 mustang ecoboost
over 100000 miles? I mean i concerned
about the turbo, i don't want to spend money
for my car and the turbo goes out fast. I am
just wondering how long does the turbo on
ecoboost last?

Turbo failures are not common. It depends on how it was driven and maintained. I have seen Ecoboost with over 200,000 miles still on the original turbo.

Worth it? Without a price who can say? As Bob says turbos can fail but if you take care of the turbo and cool it down before shutting off the engine it can last a long time. You cannot be cheap on oil changes and expect a turbo to last.
