my 72 chevy c10 ran fine turned it off now wont turn over or start

jumped solenoid  and it started but then died again no turn over or start battery is new cables are clean and new replaced starter and solenoid still nothing have power but nothing

Test for voltage at the starter main battery cable. (12.4vdc) If power present, check for signal at starter solenoid, coming from ignition switch, you may a bad ignition switch. Also check for voltage at the coil + when key is on to see if it's getting power. If no power, check ignition switch

also forgot to mention it has hei distributor that's new as well.

First, follow steps mentioned above to see if ignition switch is good. If voltage checks out ok then you can go to the next step
