I'm wondering why I have to replace my brakes atleast once a year. And my car also has a horrid squeal every time I turn my heat on, wondering if there is anything I can do to fix it

you should NOT race up to the red light, rather lift your foot and let the transmission "downshift" if this is a feature of your transmission~ I can recommend a replacement blower motor...disassemble and use a few drops of lubricant...if you can~

you shouldn't have to replace your brakes that often, unless you have poor driving habits. if the brakes are adjusted improperly, they may wear out faster than normal. take it to a shop other than the one you are currently using and have them look at it. your car has very small pedals, be sure your foot isn't partially on the brake when you are driving down the road.
