I have a 93 Chevy 1500 with the 5.7l and it
is running way to rich and I bought a code
reader that fits it and it showed me that the
vss is bad . Would that make my truck run
that rich?

Make sure the vacuum line for the map sensor is hooked up and in good shape. Tennis has you going in the right direction. What is a ACT sensor tennisshoes?
