Light and brake lights

Asked by GuruX595J Feb 17, 2019 at 10:13 PM about the 1994 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When my lights are off and I hit the
brakes my parklights come on with
brakelights. Also my brakelights do not
work everytime when lights are on. Do
u think this would be my brakelight
switch?

Also my tag lights aren't working after I had to unhook magnetic lights and rewire the wires back together. Not sure how to get tag n brake lights to work properly.

sounds like a grounding problem , if you don't see an obvious problem you'll need a multi tester to see what has power/ground and what don't
