emergency brake and car dies
his morning i drove to work and this bakkie swerved in front of me so i had to
pull my emergency brake but the car just died. i have an elantra 1996 1.6 gls.
the car was just dead. any help why?
sounds like the battery terminal is loose
that makes no sense
I'm assuming that the vehicle stalled and now will crank but not start. There's a fuel pump cutoff switch listed for your vehicle on Rockauto.com. Probably when you panic stopped the switch activated and shut down the fuel pump. You can probably reset it .I'm not sure where it will be located in the vehicle but I'd look in the trunk first. Hope that helps! Jim
its very helpfull JS08016. only thing is that I took off the battery terminals and put it back on so bat3 was suma flat? but I had to kick start the car. you said that switch is located in the boot?
I'm not sure exactly where the switch would be located. They're usually in the rear of the car. Hope that helps! Jim
