Warming up the car
I have a 2016 Elantra and want to warm it
up but how can I do this without having to
sit in tbe car as it will not let me lock it up
without me being in it
You really don't need to warm it up for more than a minute at least for the engine to work properly. A remote starter set up might be what you want.
That is what my cousin uses, a remote starter so he can do other things while the car is warming up.
It's actually not good for the engine and environment to let a car warm up and idle for long periods of time. Like FOR said, just start it and once you have oil pressure, drive away and take it easy till the car fully warms up.
