What does it mean if I press the gas & it
has a 2second delay then drives?

Check air filter and replace if necessary also change fuel filter and add seafoam fuel injector cleaner to gas tank.

Clean or replace Idle Air Control valve or Mass Air Flow sensor depending on which one your vehicle has also clean throttle with throttle body cleaner.
