OUR 2005 MILEAGE HAS GONE AWAY,ALL THE OTHER LIGHTS WORK

Asked by EK9173 Mar 31, 2010 at 10:07 PM about the 2005 Honda Element EX AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It turned out to be a short in the dashboard for my 05. That sitting at the dealer turned into two hours for what I thought was a fuse needing replacement. Dealer hardly had a clue as to how to proceed with fixing it. Different story everytime I called. All about ordering new dashboard and then sending my dashboard back for syncing the computer with the new, then whoops it doesn't get sent back in. All of this interspersed with we haven't got time to look it up to see if it is here and we will call you back. It all turned into several months of driving with out dashboard lights at night until it got replaced. I had extended warranty which covered all but the 100 deductible.
