-500miles

Asked by Guru5QLBF Jan 23, 2018 at 10:40 PM about the 2015 MINI Cooper 2-Door Hatchback FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What does that mean when switch my mini on and
it shows negative 500 miles in red? Does that mean
I need a service? But it doesn’t say anything is
wrong and I have 4 months before an oil change.

Oil changes are due to miles on the engine not months.

Ok thanks but I haven’t reached the required miles and seeing how minimum I use my car I said I will get one done in about 4 months. I’m not even half the required miles. Trying to figure out the -500 miles that pops up in Red. Haven’t noticed it before.

Maybe you just need to reset the reminder.
