I own a 2015 Nissan Altima 2.5 SV (17k miles) . When I turn my car on, turn
on the AC, put the car in gear mode (R/D) the gear wont actuate and the car
wont move. When I turn off the AC, the gears are actuated and I'm able to
use my car. Please help me understand what might be wrong with the car.

This may be covered under the remaining power train warranty. I would stop by the Nissan dealership and have them look at it. It might not cost anything to fix it.
