my pump caused fan to be jammed on shroud does the module shut it down

You probably fixed this already. Your waterpump must of been REALLY bad. Gotta remove everything to get it out of there. Tip, cut a notch in top of shroud where the top radiator hose is. Makes removing everything easy.
