fan clutch wont engage

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

replaced the fan clutch for the second time but still have the engine service light on what could be the reason?

1 Answer

Is the temperature coming up, if it is and fan clutch still not engaging, check engine temperature switch. (Not the sending unit) there's 2 temperature sensors, one feeds the temperature gauge in ur dashboard and the otherone turns on a relay for the clutch. Check for voltage when engine is at operating temperature and trace back to fuse box
