Usually when installing an aftermarket stereo, a kit is available to wire the new stereo into the existing factory wiring. After wiring the new stereo with the components provided in the kit, it plugs in just like the factory stereo did. The wiring kit is usually about twenty dollars and should be available where you purchased your new stereo. It's surprising they let you walk out the door without selling you the installation kit.
