There are tranny additives that might help but you should start with dropping the pan, change filter and fluid. If you do it yourself, the materials will be about $70....six quarts fluid, filter, additive. A slipping tranny won't last long. It might just need serviced.
A hand pump and a 1x8 1x8 adapter 20$
Is there an inexpensive way to put trans fluid in. The engine has begun to slip and I need to keep this old gal running. Thank you.
