On my 95, I had the same problem. My air pump ran constantly. My solution was to unplug the air pump and installed a pair of air shocks with the air filler installed inside trunk on left wheelwell. This gave an enormous ride with much better handling and did away with the constant rumming air pump. Cost around 75.00.
