I have a 85 buick riviera and the air ride is sagging
in the back. I tested the pump under the hood and
hooked to 12 volts and it works. When i bought the
car the owner said he unpluged it because he
thought the level sensor was bad. I plugged it in
and nothing happened. My back end rubbs my
tires. Is there a way to either fix it or at least raise it
up?

You could jumper the connection back at the ride height sensor and see if the pump kicks on. If it does that would indicate the sensor is bad. I think all Riviers had that feature so a replacement sensor should not be that hard to find. If you plan on keeping the car I would find a service manual on ebay so you have information on the wiring etc.
