Fuseable link between ignition switch and solenoid keeps blowing. (Yellow Wire) car shuts down while driving. Starts when I replace the fuse. What do I do?

This all happened when I attempted to
replace the ignition switch. I
unplugged my battery. Then installed
the switch. When I went to start it I
heard a pop and small amount of
smoke came from under the dash.

sounds to me, like you have a direct short in the wiring between the fuse and the ignition wire, test it with a voltage meter, to find the wire....hope this helps
